To achieve the objectives of the research, the quasi experimental method was used, as it suits the nature of the study, through two groups (an experimental group and a control group). The study population consisted of track and field athletes affiliated with the Athletics League of the Province of Chlef, with 65 athletes distributed across 29 teams. From this population, a sample of 11 athletes was selected intentionally, including 07 experimental athletes from Yarmoul Sports Club and 4 control athletes from oum Droua Sports Club. The athletes underwent pre-tests to measure their maximal aerobic speed using the VamÈval test. The experimental group applied the proposed training program, consisting of 24 training sessions, while the control group continued its regular training under the supervision of its coach. After statistically processing the data using the SPSS 22 software, the researcher found statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in favor of the experimental group. This confirms the superiority of the proposed interval-training program, which is based on scientific principles and sound methodologies, and confirms the effectiveness of interval training in improving maximal aerobic speed, which is directly related to the body’s oxygen consumption and maximal oxygen uptakeotherأثر برنامج تدريبي مقترح باستخدام التدريب الفتري لتحسين السرعة الهوائية القصوى لعدائي ألعاب القوىThesis
