Language needs analysis of students of marketing : Case study : first year students of marketing, University of Chlef.
(Zouaoui MERBOUH, 2012) BEN AICHA MATI, Khedidja
The actual English language teaching situation at the university of Chlef for students of marketing is not efficient since it does not lead to good results. Thus, there must be a new approach ,such as ESP based on students’needs and preferences,i.e.learner-centered approach.Needs analysis has a vital role in any Esp context. Therefore,it is of paramount importance to identify the academic needs of students before designing any ESP syllabus. The current English courses for marketing students neglect completely the students needs and preferences in learning English. This study will investigate the target needs of students in the field of marketing as well as their preferences in the learning context.
