    Analysis course 1 with detailed examples and entrainment exercises

    This document includes a set of introductory and fundamental concepts for building a solid foundation in analysis and deduction for university students. It also develops students’ research and discovery abilities through analysis and synthesis, building upon their prior and current knowledge. The primary objective of the program content presented in this publication is to cultivate students capable of addressing problems scientifically and rigorously, developing their computational skills, and exploring new techniques. There is no doubt that everything you learned in mathematics during your previous school years, and especially in high school, is of paramount importance. However, higher education aims to teach you how to deepen, develop, and explore this knowledge! The first year lays the foundation, familiarizes you with the tools you will need later on, and allows you to use them effectively. It is also an opportunity to discover the many applications of mathematics in most fields, including physics, chemistry, economics, and many others. This is where the true beauty and richness of mathematics lies, from the infinitely large (limits) to the infinitely small (derivatives), from measuring lengths (absolute values) to areas and volumes (integration), and countless other creative possibilities. The lessons are presented very clearly with many examples, allowing students to fully understand the program. In each lesson, we have provided practice exercises. This document contains six chapters.

    Geographic information system (GIS)

    This handout is the result of years of teaching the module « Geographic Information Systems »at Hassiba Benbouali University of Chlef (UHBC). This module is delivered to second-year Master’s students in computer science, specifically those in the « ISIA »track. In Geographic Information Systems, several disciplines are involved such as artificial intelligence, imaging, and simulation, etc. Therefore, in this handout, we have emphasized the structuring of geographic data and certain processing aspects that are rarely addressed in other fields. This handout is mainly intended for second-year Master’s students and computer engineers in order to enable them to design and develop GIS prototypes. The objective is to familiarize future computer science specialists with the basic concepts for the modeling and implementation of GIS.     مقياس المصطلحية

    نقدم لطلبة السنة الأخيرة من مرحلة الليسانس مجموعة من الدروس المقررة في مقياس المصطلحية، وهو علم حديث النشأة في صورته المنهجية، نشأ في الغرب ثم انتقل إلى العربية، غير أنّ العرب عرفوا الممارسة المصطلحية منذ القرن الأول الهجري، وذلك مع ظهور العديد من المعارف والعلوم المتخصصة في شتى المجالات؛ كالعلوم الشرعية من فقه وتفسير وحديث وأصول وعقيدة، وعلوم العربية كالنحو والصرف والبلاغة والمعاجم، إلى جانب علوم أخرى كالفلك والجغرافيا والطب والمنطق والفلسفة وعلوم الكلام. وقد اشتملت هذه المعارف على رصيد وافر من الألفاظ، حتى صار لكل علم جهازه الاصطلاحي الخاص، ومن يطالع كتب التراث يقف على ما يمكن اعتباره تأسيسا عربيا مبكرا لعلم المصطلح؛ إذ تتجلى فيها مصطلحات من قبيل: الصلاة، والزكاة، والصوم، والسجود، والركوع، والتوحيد، والحلال، والحرام، والبدعة، والجهاد، والخلافة، والشورى، والأمة، والملة... وهي ألفاظ اكتسبت دلالات جديدة مغايرة لما كان متعارفا عند العرب من قبل. ومع ذلك، لم يفرد العرب لهذا العلم تأليفا مستقلا كما فعلوا في علوم أخرى كالنحو والصرف وعلوم الشريعة، وإنما وردت في مصنفاتهم إشارات دالة على الوعي بالصناعة المصطلحية وأهميتها، وسنتعرف من خلال هذه الدروس على جملة من المفاهيم الأساسية التي يندرج ضمنها هذا العلم، وذلك وفق الترتيب الآتي: 1- تحديدات مفاهيمية: المصطلح، الاصطلاح، علم المصطلح، المصطلحية. 2- المصطلحية النشأة والتطور. 3- آليات صناعة المصطلح: الاشتقاق، المجاز، النحت. 4- الترجمة والتعريب. 5- أهمية المصطلح وموقعيته في التأليف العلمي. 6- وضع المصطلحات وإعدادها. 7- المصطلحية العربية- الواقع والآفاق: الجهود الفردية وجهود المجامع العربية في المصطلح. وبهذا نكون قد وضعنا الإطار العام للموضوع، لننطلق في دراسة محاور هذا المقياس خطوة خطوة.
